Extension in date for submission of Hajj application
Islamabad Pakistan: Extension of the date of submission of Hajj applications under the government scheme is being considered 20,556 applications were collected from all over the country in 11 days.
According to the details, only 5 days are left to submit the Hajj applications under the official scheme, a significant decrease was recorded in the applications of citizens for Hajj under the official scheme.
Source of the Ministry of Religious Affairs have said that 20,556 applications were collected from all over the country in 11 days, extension of the date of applications is being considered.
Sources say that if less than 90,000 applications are collected; the remaining quota will have to be returned to Saudi Arabia.
It should be noted that next year approximately 89,605 Pakistanis will perform Hajj under the official scheme, in case of receiving more than the prescribed number of applications, a lottery will be held. Women will be able to perform Hajj without Mahrram for the first time.
It should be noted that applications can be submitted on a valid Pakistani passport till 16 December 2024. Hajj application can also be processed on the passport application token.
Under the sponsorship scheme, 25,000 seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications received under the regular Hajj scheme will be drawn by lottery.
